BookingQuad ("we", "us") runs the rental listing marketplace at www.bookingquad.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@bookingquad.com and we will explain.
We only collect information you actively send us through the site:
We do not collect payment details. Payments, where they happen, are arranged directly between you and the operator of the home.
We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry, to connect you with the operator of the home you asked about, to review property submissions, and to keep records of our correspondence with you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
When you enquire about a specific home, we forward your enquiry, including your name and contact details, to the host or operator responsible for that home so they can reply to you. For BookingQuad-managed homes, that is our own operations team. For partner listings, that is the named partner operator shown on the listing, for example an operator such as BookMyColiving. Partner operators handle your details under their own privacy policies once your enquiry reaches them.
We also use service providers to run the website and deliver email. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
The site currently uses only what is needed for essential functionality. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. Third-party resources the site loads (such as fonts and map tiles, which load only if you open the map view) may receive your IP address as a normal part of serving those files.
We keep enquiry and submission data for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a record of the conversation, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@bookingquad.com and we will respond as quickly as we can, and within any deadline that applies under the law where you live.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the basis of taking steps you request before entering a contract (handling your enquiry about a home) and our legitimate interest in running the marketplace and responding to messages. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to your data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK. Because we forward enquiries to operators in the country where the home is located, your details may be transferred outside the EU or UK when you enquire about a home in another country; we only do this to fulfil the request you made.
